INTRODUCTION
It was a difficult choice. I take photos travelling in different places of the world, but also around home. You can get good images everywhere. These are some of my favourite geographic and photographic places, where I feel the strongest interaction between my eyes and the lens. So I discovered that taking pictures is a passion containing obsessive elements, a kind of vice, maybe an addiction. It is the addiction of those who want to renew the emotion of choosing, the emotion of taking a risk. It is something like the thrill of a gambler at the moment he makes his quick decision.
TECHNICAL NOTES
For many years I used the camera bodies and lenses of the MINOLTA MD system. Then, when autofocus was invented, I switched to CANON EOS: EOS 3 and 5 bodies, 17-35 f2.8, 50 f1,4 and 70-200 f2.8 lenses. For wildlife photography I use a Canon 300mm f4.0 and the
Canon 400mm f4.0 DO. Teleconverters 1,4X and 2X. Films are always Fuji but from some times I switched to digital: Canon EOS 1D MarkII and EOS 5D.
